About JevStation
JevStation is a workspace for running Jev, the System One model from TypeSafe. It exists because the model is easy to call and harder to live with: you need somewhere to keep the states you have built, the question sets that finally worked, and the answers you can compare over time.
An independent product
Jev is made by TypeSafe AI. JevStation is not: it is a separate product that uses TypeSafe's API as a customer. That distinction is worth stating plainly, because it decides what we can and cannot promise. We cannot change the model, its pricing or its availability. What we control is everything around the call — the editor, saved threads, reusable contexts, credit metering, refunds on failure, and the answers you get back.
Why a workspace, and not just an API call
A single Jev call is trivial to make and a decision set is not. The work is in designing questions whose options you can actually branch on, keeping the state that made them meaningful, and knowing whether last month's answers still hold. That work is what JevStation holds on to.
Rules we hold ourselves to
- Publish numbers, not adjectives. When we measure something we say how, and we say what the measurement does not cover.
- Separate vendor claims from independent ones. Where a figure comes from TypeSafe we say so, and where a third party found something different we report that too — including when it complicates the story.
- State the limits. Jev cannot write, cannot answer a question whose options you cannot list, and is not always well calibrated. A page that only lists strengths is not useful to anyone deciding whether to build on it.
- Do not sell what we do not have. The pricing page describes one-time credit packs because that is what exists. If a feature is not finished, it is not advertised.
How it is built
A Next.js application running on Cloudflare Workers with a D1 database, with the Jev evaluation contract handled server-side so your state and questions are not assembled in the browser. Every evaluation is metered in credits, and a failed run is refunded automatically.
